More memos to come, says House GOP

Rep. Devin Nunes leaves a classified briefing at the U.S. Capitol

"Adam leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information".

In attacking Schiff, Trump compared him with former FBI director James Comey, whose dismissal by the president in May is one of the subjects of an obstruction of justice investigation by Mueller.

Trump has claimed that the Republican memo, which alleges the FBI abused its surveillance powers during an investigation of his presidential election campaign's possible ties to Russian Federation, completely vindicates him.

Russian Federation denies interfering in the vote, insisting that it does not meddle in the internal affairs of other countries.

"Mr. President, I see you've had a busy morning of 'Executive Time.' Instead of tweeting false smears, the American people would appreciate it if you turned off the TV and helped solve the funding crisis, protected Dreamers or.really anything else", he tweeted. "There is a rising sense of panic clearly within the White House and as well on the Hill".

"I think they're going to be forced to release it", Schiff told reporters on a conference call.

Both Nunes and the White House have rejected allegations that they collaborated on the crafting of the memo, suspicions that several top Democrats have raised. The only way to get a complete picture is for the Mueller investigation to continue unimpeded.

The recently-released Republican memo alleging abuses of covert surveillance powers by the Justice Department and FBI to investigate a former member of President Trump's campaign team will not have "any impact on the Russian Federation probe", said Republican Trey Gowdy, R-S.C. Interviewed on CBS' "Face the Nation" on Sunday, Gowdy said the allegations of FBI misconduct in getting the warrant to surveil Trump campaign adviser Carter Page have nothing to do with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

Janet Yellen's Fed tenure may be the calm before the storm
He described Yellen's record at the Fed as "pretty darn good". "The banking system is more resilient", Yellen said. The vote for the sanctions was 3-0, with the incoming chairman, Jerome Powell , joining Yellen and Gov.

Democrats have denounced the document as a tactic to undermine the investigation and protect Trump. The committee rejected that move last week, with one Republican member saying revisions are needed so the memo will not endanger national security. He is the ranking Democratic member of the House Intelligence Committee.

In keeping with his deliberate style, Burr hasn't commented on the report released Friday by the House Intelligence Committee, which is chaired by Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif.

"But with the release of the Nunes memo ... we can only conclude that House Republicans are complicit in the effort to help the president avoid accountability for his actions and the actions of his campaign". He has emerged as a visible nemesis of the president, appearing nearly daily on television to discuss the various investigations of Trump.

The Republican memo alleged that the Federal Bureau of Investigation misled the FISA judge - or possibly, multiple FISA judges - by failing to fully describe who was behind the financing of research by ex-British spy Christopher Steele that they said was an "essential" part of the warrant to surveil Carter Page, a former advisor on the Trump campaign.

Intelligence Committee Democrats have also prepared a response to the Nunes memo, but it contains classified information and would require Trump's approval before releasing or an otherwise complicated legislative process that requires GOP support.

White House officials and others close to President Donald Trump insist he will rely on the input of law enforcement and intelligence agencies as he decides whether to declassify a memo from Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee.

The White House will now review the memo before deciding on possible redactions or objections, as it did with the Republican memo that ultimately was released in full last Friday.
